United Football Coach David Milroy Says Team Needs To Band-Together During Challenging Stretch in Schedule

Share

The United Red Storm football team have dropped the first two games of this new season. The Storm fell to Annawan/Wethersfield in week one and Princeville last Friday. In week 3, United travels to Aledo, Illinois for their 3rd Lincoln Trail Conference match up, taking on the (1-1) Golden Eagles. Mer Co held a normally potent Farmington offense to 8 points in an opening week 24-8 win over the Farmers and then lost to perennial power Knoxville 32-22 last week. After Mercer County, the Red Storm will take on the aforementioned Knoxville Blue Bullets in week 4. Red Storm football coach David Milroy says that this tough stretch can go one of two ways.
