West Central-Ridgewood Week Three 8-Man Football Game Features Battle Between Two Coaching Friends

Share

The West Central Heat football team is out a quick start this season……literally. The Heat are (2-0) and have outscored their opponents 46-0 in the first quarter and 116-30 in the first halves of the two games. West Central has a match up in week 3 with a team that’s almost as hot as the Heat.

The Ridgewood Spartans are in their first year of 8-man football. They are also (2-0) in their first two games and have outscored their opponents by a total of 64-7 in the first quarter and 100-13 in the first half of their two victories.

The coaches, Jason Kirby for West Central and Pat Elder of Ridgewood, have a long and successful history full of respect for each other. Kirby is looking forward to the challenge of facing a quality Spartan 8-man team for the first time.
