WIRC Project Santa Program Deadline This Friday

The deadline for first consideration is the Western Illinois Regional Council’s Project Santa Program is this Friday, September 30th at 4 pm. Public Relations Manager Jamie Roth says the program has been around since 1983:

“It’s mission is to provide a Happy Holiday full of gifts, food, and clothing to children of income eligible families in Hancock, Henderson, McDonough, and Warren Counties in Illinois, so it is a big area. Last year we had an exceptionally high number of applications and kids that we were able to assist. We helped over 500 children.”
