Celebrate Halloween While Supporting WIAR Saturday, October 29th

The annual Happy Howloween 5K run/walk and 1K fun run/walk fundraiser with Western Illinois Animal Rescue is back Saturday, October 29th. Critter Coordinator Terri Copeland has the details:

“Leashed animals are welcome. We will start at WIAR. We do this event annually and you can register online or by stopping into the rescue. There is a costume contest for your animals and for the kids. Following the 5K, there will be games for the animals and the kids, picture opportunities, activities, apple cider, coffee, and snacks. We are looking forward to a great day.”

Registration for the event on Saturday, October 29th will begin at noon with the race start time to follow at 1 pm.
