JCC Collecting Applications for Annual Community Christmas Store

Share

Applications are currently being accepted for the Jamieson Community Center Christmas Store, shares Executive Director Nancy Mowen:

“Parents can come in and shop for their children. We have a fee of $5 to shop. They get to select from new clothing. We have had socks and underwear thanks to the Rotary Club of Monmouth. We have blankets, which are handmade by a variety of people in the community. We have a huge selection of toys from Central Illinois ABATE, Smithfield, just so many groups that contribute to that. We have hats and gloves, and the Alexis Presbyterian Church Women’s Group collects books for us.”

JCC’s Christmas Store serves over 300 children locally.
