A Kewanee man is charged with kidnapping and sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl. Police say the teen told officers that she was walking early Friday in the 600 block of South Main Street when a man offered her a ride to a gas station. The suspect instead took her to his Kewanee home, where he refused to let her leave and committed criminal acts. The girl was eventually able to escape before officers arrested David Rounds.
