Lock Down Online Accounts with Unique Passwords

Using an easy to remember password or even the same password for banking accounts, social media, websites, or streaming services can be convenient; however, it is not very secure against hackers trolling for information. City of Monmouth Information Technology and Communications Director Ken Helms advises creating unique passwords for each account, especially your email:

Four main characteristics in creating a strong password include a word or phrase of at least twelve characters, a mixture of uppercase and lowercase letters, mixture of letters and numbers, and at least one special character.
