The monthly Soup Suppers at the Monmouth American Legion are back beginning in October, shares Finance Officer Cheri Stanton:

“We run from October through May, the first Monday of every month. It is an all you can eat. This year we had to go up to $9 for adults just because of inflation and everything, but we are still taking care of the kids at $3. We want to thank everybody for helping us keep our doors open with this. This helps us to pay our power bills for the wintertime.”

The first Soup Supper will be held Monday, October 3rd from 5 to 6:30 pm, serving chili, ham and beans, spinach bisque, sloppy joe sandwiches, and desserts.
