Monmouth-Roseville Looking to Add Bowling to Extracurricular Activities

Share

The Monmouth-Roseville Board of Education has approved a bowling co-op with West Central as another extracurricular activity for students to participate in shares Superintendent Ed Fletcher:

“The Monmouth-Roseville Board approved a girls and boys bowling co-op with the West Central School District. I believe their board meets fairly soon to do the same and so whether they approve it or not, we will move forward from there. We are excited to offer another sport for kids. Kids participating in school related activities, whether it’s fine arts, choir or band, or sports, do better in school; just another opportunity for our kids to participate in something.”

Meanwhile, a new scoreboard will be installed inside the gym at the high school by the end of October, plus the district is working with MTC Communications to add internet access at the soccer field to have those games streamed by next spring.
