Murder Mystery Play ‘Clue’ on Stage at Sandburg November 4th – 6th

The Carl Sandburg College Humanities and Fine Arts Department will present their fall production “Clue” Friday, November 4th through Sunday, November 6th in the Fine Arts Theater on Sandburg’s Main Campus in Galesburg. Theater Instruction Robert Thompson has a sneak preview:

“Everyone knows that favorite board game, so they have made a fictitious who done it mystery. They have created a show with the characters that we love, a who done it, and it is just a fast paced show. It is a farce, so it is a lot of fun. We have done a couple of things for secret passages and some theatrical trickery that is going on. It has been kind of difficult to lay down, but I think it is going to be a nice effect at the end. We have different endings and we go through the possibilities. It is a pretty complicated show honestly, but it is a lot of fun. We have a huge cast, 15 people in it, plus people backstage. We have scholarship students and people from the community in the play.”

A free preview for students, faculty and staff with a Sandburg ID will take place at 7:30 p.m.  on Thursday, November 3rd. Show times for public performances are 7:30 p.m. Friday, November 4th and Saturday, November 5th and 2 p.m. Sunday, November 6th. Tickets are $5 each and are available at the door starting 30 minutes prior to each show.
