“Recovery is Possible”

Share

Through Bridgeway, the Recovery-Oriented System of Care, or ROSC, is a coordinated network of community-based services that come together to better serve individuals recovering from a substance use disorder. System of Care Coordinator serving McDonough and Fulton Counties, Jeff McFadden, shares recovery is possible:

“With ROSC we promote multiple pathways to recovery. I know some people who do different forms of recovery; some do a strict exercise regimen and some follow faith-based recovery very intensely. I have a friend, a colleague, who gardens and meditates a lot. I have several friends who do a twelve-step recovery program. I have people who are very spiritual and into nature and that is their method of recovery. Whatever way you can find recovery and sustain it, we are for it.”

ROSC will host a six-county area event on Saturday, November 19th in Monmouth from 3 to 6 pm. Up to date details can be tracked by searching the https://www.facebook.com/westcentralillinoisrecovery or https://www.facebook.com/fultonmcdonoughcountyillinoisrecovery Facebook pages.
