United North Elementary Kindness Club Spreading Good Tidings Throughout the Community

Share

Added this year to the United North Elementary is the Kindness Club, which was showcased for their success during the recent Board of Education meeting, shares Superintendent Jeff Whitsitt:

“Carrie Clayton serves as the Outreach Worker in that building and she has been working with a group of kids. They were hand-picked and selected by their teachers as kids that are leaders and motivators within the building. Carrie has brought them together and they have been doing some fundraising, so they have some money to put toward some projects. Their mission is to just go around and spread tidings to people and do kindness projects throughout the area. Seven kids are involved, and they did choose Olivia Spitzer, a fifth grader, to be their spokesperson and she did a fabulous job.”

Whitsitt shares the Kindness Club has upcoming projects they will be tackling, including painting of recess equipment and branching out and doing some yard work for members of the community.
