United Red Storm Fights for Their First Win Over Walther Christian Academy Broncos

The United Red Storm has faced some tough but familiar teams this season but this week they are switching up and playing on a Saturday against a team all the way from the Chicagoland area, Walther Christian Academy Broncos, for their week six match. Both of these teams currently have a 0-5 record so they will be fighting hard to come out of this battle with their first win of the season to give them that 1-5 record. Owen McMillen will lead United as quarterback this week against the Broncos. United started the game off strong with a McElwee touchdown bringing the score 8-0. McElwee continued with a 17-yard touchdown bringing the Red Storm’s lead 16-0. Hunter Hall then scored a 30-yard interception return bringing the score 24-0. Hunter continued this momentum and scored another touchdown to end the first half. In the second half Tony Rodriguez scored a touchdown growing the Red Storm’s lead 38-0. A 9-yard touchdown was made by Sam Perry bringing the score 46-0. Jake McElwee scored his third touchdown of the game to put more points on the board for the Red Storm. Konner Elliot finished the game with a 34-yard touchdown bringing the final score to 62-0. The player of the game brought to you by Clark & Glasglow Law Office is Jake McElwee. The Red Storm is leaving week 6 with their first win of the season and will head into week 7 with a 1-5 record. United is set to travel and face ROWVA-Williamsfield next Friday night, October 7th. Pregame will start around 6:40 with kickoff following at 7:00.
