GALESBURG — The Carl Sandburg College volleyball team had a trio of sophomores voted to the All-Region IV Division II District A team for their play for the Chargers this season.

Right side Gracie Rademacker, libero Jasmin McDaniel and setter Carmyn Baldwin were voted to the team by district coaches after leading Sandburg to a 23-17 record and Arrowhead Conference title during the regular season. Additionally, Rademacker will be submitted as an NJCAA All-America nominee by being one of the region’s three leading vote-getters.

A versatile third-year sophomore, Rademacker has played in all 40 matches and leads the Chargers this season with 558.5 total points, 4.1 points per set, 453 kills, 3.31 kills per set, 68 aces and 1,318 total attacks. Rademacker is also second on the team in digs and digs per set, with 524 and 3.82, respectively. Through Tuesday, she ranked among the top 20 nationally in NJCAA Division II in total attacks (ninth), points (10th), kills (13th) and aces (20th). Rademacker put down a career-best 27 kills in the Chargers’ five-set loss at No. 1 Parkland on Friday. She also led the Chargers with 24 digs in that match.
