Annual Veteran’s Day Program at the Monmouth American Legion Friday, Nov. 11

This year’s annual Veteran’s Day program will be held at the Monmouth American Legion with the Monmouth College Band kicking the morning off, shares Finance Officer Cheri Stanton:

“We are going to start at 9:30 am with the Monmouth College band. At 10 am we will start the program with the National Anthem and the Joyce Clark will be doing a prayer for us. We will introduce the guests and the officers we have there. I have a couple of videos that we are going to try this year; Ronald Reagan did a wonderful speech during his Presidency and the other one is a Veteran’s Day message form Lieutenant Colonel Ollie North. Our guest speaker this year is David Reid Clark. He stepped up and said he was glad to do that and always does a great job. Then we will have the Armed Forces medley, some coffee and cookies, and at 11 am we will have our 21 gun salute.”

The Veteran’s Day program on Friday, November 11th can also be heard live beginning at 10 am on AM 1330/FM 94.1 WRAM, online at radiomonmouth.com, or the free WRAM mobile app.
