Christine Ann Robertson, 60, of Galesburg, Illinois, died at 7:05 A.M. on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at home with her family by her side.

She was born December 26, 1961 in Galesburg, the daughter of Robert Ralph and Ruth Marie (Sargeant) Tingley. Christine graduated from Knoxville High School in 1980. Her first job was at an A&W in Galesburg. Since then, she has traveled and lived in many different states. Christine has also been employed as an auditor at a hotel while living in Georgia. She loved her job as a bartender and worked at several different bars over the years. Christine worked as a forklift operator at Butler Manufacturing for many years. She last worked at PZ’s Place and Steakhouse for about five years until she could no longer work. She married Mark Eugene Robertson on April 29, 2007 in Knoxville, Illinois.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 15 years, Mark Robertson of Galesburg; one son, Justin Warren of Galesburg; one daughter, Jennifer (Aaron Boughton) Warren of Galesburg; and two grandchildren, Brantley and Cierra Warren. Also surviving is one brother, Robert Tingley of Galesburg; and two sisters, Cindy (Dan Burnett) Tingley of East Galesburg, and Connie (Zan) Carter of Galesburg. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Bradley Tingley; one nephew, Wesley Tingley; one niece, Tracy Johnson; and a grandchild, Baby Boughton.

She had participated in a few different leagues, including darts, pool, and bowling. Christine enjoyed making crafts, crossword puzzles, playing bingo, watching soap operas, and fishing. She liked going to the skating rink when she was younger. Christine always knew how to have a good time and was a lot of fun to be around. She adored dolphins and had always wished to see them. Christine loved her family, especially her grandbabies.

Cremation will be accorded. A celebration of life will take place from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at PZ’s Place & Steakhouse, 2330 Grand Ave., Galesburg, IL 61401. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Watson Thomas Funeral Home, 1849 N. Seminary St., Galesburg, IL 61401.
