IEPA Opens Another Round of Rebates for Electric Vehicle Purchases

Share

The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency is opening another round of electric vehicle rebates. If you bought an electric vehicle in the past 90 days or plan to soon, you may be eligible for a rebate says IEPA Spokesperson Kim Biggs.

“The rebate we offer is $4,000 for an all-electric vehicle. There is also a rebate available for all electric motorcycles in the amount of $1,500.”

The purchaser must be an Illinois resident and buy the vehicle from an Illinois dealership. Applications are due by the end of January. More information is available on the Illinois EPA’s website.
