‘Long Live the Queens’ at the 13th Annual M-R Madrigal Dinner

Share

The 13th Annual Monmouth-Roseville High School Madrigal Dinner is this Saturday, December 3rd and Sunday, December 4th inside the AP Room. Chorus Department Director Kevin Ferry previews this year’s theme:

“We have Long Live the Queens. Basically, after 70 years and two hundred and some odd days, Titan Nation is without a queen for the first time, so what do we do and all the chaos that ensues. We have several kids stepping up that have been in Mads for years and are getting their first big roles. All of these decrees and declarations, it just becomes a big, jumbled mess and our king ends up getting married several times throughout the night and then our villain Molly Matten, all of her angst to try to become queen and how that can come about or not.”

1:00 shows on Saturday or Sunday are $15 and include dessert. 6 pm shows on Saturday or Sunday evening are $25 and include dinner. Tickets can be purchased by calling Monmouth-Roseville High School at 309-734-5118.
