Mary Anne (Phillips) Swenson, 94, of Monmouth, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022 at Aledo Rehab and Healthcare Center, Aledo, Illinois. She was born January 21, 1928 in rural Little York, the daughter of Everett and Rilla (Ross) Phillips. She was raised and educated in the Little York area.
Survivors include her children, Dwain, Carl, David, Gayle, Sherri and their families; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; one sister, June Spees. Nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings, John Marjorie and Elsie.
Mary Anne spent most of her adult life helping on the farm and raising her children.
Cremation rites have been accorded with no services planned at this time.
