Along with boys and girls basketball getting started at Monmouth-Roseville high school, the wrestlers hit the mats before Thanksgiving. On Wednesday the wrestling team was in Rockridge taking on the Rockets in their first match, falling 51-18, then rebounding with a 41-30 win over Peru St. Bede.
The wrestlers will once again be busy this week as they have a slew of matches on their schedule. For a preview of the upcoming slate for the wrestling program, here is MR Athletic Director, Jeremy Adolphson.
