Pat J. Edwardson, 90, of Abingdon, died at 7 a.m. Monday, November 7, 2022, at home with family at her side.

She was born March 3, 1932, in Geneseo, the daughter of Alvin H. and Islah B. (Bainbridge) Kuhl.  She married Dana C. Edwardson on September 16, 1956, in Galesburg.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie J. Keever of Abingdon and Beth Ann (Steve) Thomas) of Monmouth; a son, Gary D. Edwardson of Galesburg; grandchildren, Crissy (Jon) Boone, Jenny (Nick) Keever-Bryan, Angie Ryner, Robbie Hoots, Gregg Edwardson, David Edwardson, Kristine Edwardson-Santa Maria, and Amanda Edwardson; great grandchildren, Marisa, Jacob, Maci, Tanner, Dylan, Caleigh, Elizabeth, Nicole, Hannah, Mia, Mary Jane, Jessi, and Bradley; and special niece and nephews, Rodney Schultz, Patty (Will) Miner, and Jamie Schultz.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Jackie Kuhl; a nephew, John Reeder; a niece, Kathy Hillier; and a great niece, Megan Schultz.

Pat’s family moved to Galesburg in 1945, where she graduated from Galesburg High School in 1950.  She worked at the former First Galesburg National Bank for 25 years.  She then went on to work at Seminary Manor for 7 ½ years and Marigold Health Care Center for 7 ½ years in admissions.  Lastly, Pat worked for two years at the former Toys and Teachers before retiring in December 2001.

Pat was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.  She also enjoyed memberships in the Order of the Eastern Star, Altrusa Club, and Kiwanis Club.  She enjoyed meeting with her club every Monday for lunch and her lunch bunch once a month.  The most enjoyment Pat got in life were from her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Cremation will be accorded.  Memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel.  Rev. Dan Lybarger will officiate.  There will be no visitation.  Memorial contributions may be made to Faith United Methodist Church.  Online condolences may be made on the funeral home’s website at www.h-p-w.com.
