Mrs. Sharon L. Seiboldt, 84, of Victoria, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 7:47 pm at her home.

Sharon was born on December 14, 1937, the daughter of Dean and Frances (Godsil) Gibbs. She married Roger Seiboldt on November 16, 1957, at the Victoria United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Roger; two sons, Joel (Nancy) Seiboldt, of Naperville, Illinois, and Pat (Susan) Seiboldt, of Victoria, Illinois, her brother, Gary (Carole) Gibbs of LaFayette, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Megan (Mark) Holder, Matt (Caitlin) Seiboldt, Chris (Karen) Seiboldt, Grace Seiboldt, Christina Seiboldt, Noah Seiboldt and Emma Seiboldt; and one great grandchild, Alexander Holder. She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Sara A. Seiboldt on January 28, 2022.

Sharon graduated from ROVA High School in 1955. She worked as a rural mail carrier for over 30 years in the Victoria and Williamsfield area. Sharon was best known as a dedicated homemaker. Sara and she would tend to Roger and Pat in the fields, bringing them dinner. She was an exceptional baker and cook, specializing in apple, cherry and mince meat pies. Thanksgiving she was known for her scalloped oysters.

Sharon enjoyed watching her granddaughter, Grace participate in Special Olympic events throughout the years and made it a priority to be at all the football and basketball games, cross country and swim meets, FFA, 4H, and County Fair events to support all of her grandchildren, as she held all of them extremely close to her heart.

Sharon was a faithful member of the Victoria United Methodist Church and enjoyed her coffee groups that met on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services. Rev. Marty Briney will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 am Saturday at the chapel. Those unable to attend in person may watch via the funeral homes Facebook page or the funeral homes website.  The burial will be in Victoria Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Victoria United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com
