Allen Edward Kazmirski, 80, of Galesburg, died at 10:53 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2022, in OSF St. Mary Medical Center.

He was born February 11, 1942, in El Paso, Texas, the son of Stella Kazmierski.  He married Shirley Ann Kazmirski on May 4, 1973, in Abingdon.  She preceded him in death on October 17, 2020.

He is survived by three children, Gerry Gargano and twins, Angela (Chris) Hampton and Paul (Heather Pfeiffer) Kazmirski; five grandchildren; and three brothers, Mike (Anita) Cielski, Chester (Joanne) Cielski, and Jimmy (Elaine) Cielski.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Thomas Cielski, Nicholas Cielski, Robert Cielski, Paul Cielski, and Mary Ellen Cielski.

Allen worked for Gates Rubber Company for 33 ½ years, retiring April 17, 2002.  He was of the Catholic faith.  Allen enjoyed airplanes, electronics, and computers.

Cremation will be accorded.  No visitation or service is planned.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services of Galesburg is honored to serve the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.h-p-w.com.
