Building improvements and remodels within the Monmouth-Roseville School District are getting further to completion at Central and Harding as supplies are arriving, reports Superintendent Ed Fletcher:

“Just a little bit more work to go at those two buildings for the unit ventilators; the heating is working but some rooms don’t have unit ventilators so we are getting those in and getting them installed. A little bit more work at Central’s gym and we will be up and running there. In January at the High School the HVAC project starts. We will be doing some work second shift in the evenings. We are anticipating at least two years to get that done. Also the board approved a tile project at Lincoln and the Junior High for next summer. Also, at the High School over the summer we will be remodeling the bathrooms and we will do the remaining school bathrooms the summer of 2024.”

The Monmouth-Roseville Board of Education also approved their tax levy, which Superintendent Fletcher anticipates around a five cent reduction.
