The Lady Titans continued play in the Cliff Warkins Erie-Prophetstown Holiday Tournament on Thursday night. The Titans took on the Golden Eagles of Mercer County. After beginning the game down early, Monmouth-Roseville took a 26-18 lead at the halftime break. The Titans would end up pulling away in the second half however, ultimately winning by a final score of 64-48.
The Titans improved to 3-0 at the E-P tourney, with wins over Bureau Valley, Peoria Heights, and now Mercer County. On the season overall, the Titans move to 14-1.
In the stat-book for the Titans, Brianna Woodard led the scoring with 22 points, while Carmyn Huston added 16. Next up for the Titans is their final game of the Erie-Prophetstown Tournament tomorrow night at 6:00, against the Lena-Winslow Panthers.
