A winter storm is expected to hit the local area late Wednesday through Friday night. With blizzard conditions, strong winds, and extreme cold wind chills possible, Warren County 911 Coordinator Ken Helms reminds motorists of these safe traveling tips if you happen to get stranded:

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the local area through Friday evening.
