Warren County Sheriff Edwards Says to Take Those Extra Steps in Securing Personal Belongings

Share

As thefts continue to raise concerns, Warren County Sheriff Martin Edwards advises securing your homes, cars, and personal belongings to prevent becoming a target of opportunity:

“You have to take those steps to secure your property. We talked last month about camera systems. I know they are a little expensive and a little bit difficult to deal with, but if you can get one, get one with good resolution on it so we can try and pick out vehicles and faces and things like that. We just encourage people to take that extra step to secure your property and of course report it right away. Trailers, if you have the VIN numbers or titles to them that is very helpful too so we can get that inputted.”

Sheriff Edwards says to remember to lock your cars, homes, garages, and take those valuables out of your car.
