Local Resident Amanda Pilger Giving Back to St. Francis NICU

Share

Monmouth Resident Amanda Pilger says her experience 13 years ago in the St. Francis NICU for 27 days inspired her to want to give back to families and nurses. Pilger started the fundraiser 7 years ago and has donated over 1200 pouches and hopes to donate another 100 this year. Pilger says it is really a community and family effort when it comes to the donations and the items that fill the pouches. Items in the pouches range from cuddle blankets, hand and face wipes, bow’s, hand sanitizer and more.
