Carl Sandburg College women’s basketball player Lilly Isenhour has been named the Region IV Division II District A Player of the Week on the heels of a pair of dominant outings.

Isenhour, a 6-foot freshman from Clinton, Iowa, posted a pair of double-doubles last week against Arrowhead Conference foes, averaging 17.5 points and 18 rebounds in two games.

Isenhour had 11 points and 21 rebounds in the Chargers’ loss Tuesday against Black Hawk at home. She then tallied 24 points, 15 rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block in Sandburg’s come-from-behind victory Thursday at Sauk Valley. They marked her 11th and 12th double-doubles on the season.

Isenhour is averaging 13.2 points and 10.7 rebounds on 49.4 percent shooting on the year. Against conference opponents, she is putting up 17.2 points and 12.9 boards while hitting 55.8 percent of her shots from the floor.
