Illinois rode a second half surge to a 72-56 victory over Nebraska at the State Farm Center last night. The Illini outscored the Cornhuskers 34-19 in the second half. Matthew Mayer scored a team-high 16 points in the victory. Illinois improved to 16-and-6.
