The Galesburg Silver Streak boys placed 1st as a team in the same sectional. They were led by a plethora of first place finishes. The 200 yard medley relay team of Riley Stevenson, Luke Thomas, Carter Olson and Luke Foster were one of those that touched the wall first. Stevenson was also a 2-time winner, individually, with first place finishes in the 50 and 100 yard freestyle races. Carter Olson won the 200 IM, with Andrew Hawkinson winning the 500 freestyle. Those Silver Streaks, plus Andrew Peterson who placed 3rd in the 1 meter diving event, will move on to this weekend’s state finals in Westmont.
