The Monmouth College Fighting Scots Society supports student-athletes and coaches by maintaining and growing premiere athletics programs. Development Officer of Athletics and Corporate Relations Michael Blaesing informs over the past two years, $250,000 has been generated:

“The last couple of years have been great. We have been able to generate over $250,000 in support. Just to highlight a few of those upgrades, some indoor and some outdoor, for example, the Kane Varsity Room in the Huff Athletic Center; the teams use that for film sessions, team meetings, and various other things. They will use it for recruiting as well. Outdoors, there is a new sound system out at Peacock Memorial Athletic Park and softball was able to get new batting cages. We got new signage in the Trotter Fitness Center. Something that is new that a lot of folks maybe know about, our Inaugural Champions Club, which we inducted the 1972 undefeated football team and they will be getting a new team championship banners and signage. Just recently Coach Haynes, our Athletic Director, mentioned that Glennie Gymnasium was in need of new chairs for basketball and volleyball.”

The Fighting Scots Society provides financial support for the 22 athletic programs at Monmouth College.
