Take the Temptation Away, Lock Up Personal Belongings

Share

In this day and age, you can never be too secure. Warren County Sheriff Martin Edwards reminds residents to lock up their houses, garages, cars, and take personal belongings inside:

“We run into situations sometimes where large amounts of cash or firearms are left unsecured in a car and they end up being stolen. You need to make sure at least your doors are locked. Take your purses, your cash, you firearms, your valuables into the house at night and secure them where they should be. If it happens, still give us a call and let us get a report on it.”

Sheriff Edwards also says having a hard copy of serial numbers for your personal items is a good thing to have, which can be put into the system for when stolen items turn back up.
