W-H Farm Bureau Offering Local In-Person Pesticide Application Testing

Share

The Illinois Department of Agriculture and the University of Illinois Extension are teaming up to offer pesticide training and testing locally, says Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau President Jake Armstrong:

“If you have a sprayer, run a sprayer, or a custom guy, you are very familiar with this program. I will say locally on February 27th at the Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau, we are hosting a testing so you can come in and take that in-person if you don’t want to do that online or you have some struggles that way. Then February 28th at the Knox County Farm Bureau, they are doing an in-person testing as well. If you want to be in-person, those are your two local options. You can find more information at web.extension.illinois.edu to find more dates throughout the state, but you can do all this online. I encourage you to get those done so that we can all spray legally and be within the bounds and be covered.”

More details on the upcoming in-person pesticide application trainings can be found at https://whfarmbureau.org/index.php.
