The National Women’s Junior College tournament is going on right now down in Lubbock, Texas. Former Monmouth-Roseville Titan Drew Cole is currently at the event doing recruiting for the Illinois State women’s basketball program. Cole joined the Redbirds staff under head coach Kristen Gillespie in 2022, after a four year stint on the Abilene Christian basketball staff. Speaking on the WRAM morning show this morning, Coach Cole went over the state of college recruiting, and how COVID and the transfer portal have changed how recruiting is done.
