Brenda Joyce O’Connor, 63, of Galesburg, Illinois died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2023at Marigold Health Care and Rehab, Galesburg.

Brenda was born September 25, 1959 in Bellflower, California the daughter of Gilbert Robert and Dorma Jean (McVicker) O’Connor.

Brenda is survived by one daughter, Carrie Bellehumeur of Galesburg; three grandchildren, Alexandria Ashby, Alyssa Pedigo, and Kyrstyn Pedigo; two great grandchildren, Khole Timmons and King Rodriguez; and her stepfather, Sheryl Barlow of Oklahoma. Brenda is also survived by one brother, Bob O’Connor of California; and one aunt Cleta Banks of Menifee, California. Brenda was preceded in death by her father and her mother, Dorma Barlow.

Brenda loved to be with her family and enjoyed laughing, joking, and having a good time.

Cremation will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at watsonthomas.com.
