Knox County is honoring the deputy who died in the line of duty last year.  The county board passed a resolution to permanently make April 29th “Deputy Nicholas Weist Day” in the county.  Tomorrow marks one year since Weist’s death.  The deputy was setting up spike strips at U.S. Highway 150 and 150th Avenue in Henry County when a suspect’s car hit and killed him.  Daylon Richardson faces multiple charges in the incident, including murder.
