Local Farmer Dave Jenks Says Fields are Wonderful as Plant 2023 in Underway

Farmers are taking to the field this week as spring temperatures are here. Local farmer Dave Jenks says conditions are wonderful:

“Conditions are just wonderful. There is moisture in the ground. Tillage is working good. Planters are rolling. Pretty much starting Tuesday a lot of planters started around the area, so there will be a lot of corn and beans in the ground this week and also next week.”
