The Monmouth-Roseville high school baseball team has gotten two more games under their belt in the early part of this week. The Titans took down longtime rival Rockridge on Monday night in a 7-6 win at Sunny Lane field, before dropping a game last night at home against another rival in the Macomb Bombers. So far this season, Monmouth-Roseville has amassed an 11-4-1 record under second year Head Coach Jordan Ball, a major improvement over their 8-16 record last season. Speaking this morning, Coach Ball says that his team is ready to go for the final portion of the season, and the program as a whole is continuing to come together.

M-R continues their busy week tomorrow night when they go on the road to Rockridge, then come back home Friday night for a match against the Red Devils of Spring Valley Hall. The Titans will look to continue racking up wins to increase their seeding for IHSA regional play, coming up in May.
