Monmouth-Roseville Softball Chalking Up Wins in Non-Conference Action

Share

The Monmouth-Roseville varsity girls softball team picked up two wins in their last four games. The Lady Titans squad defeated Southeastern on Saturday before travelling to Bushnell last night to take down the Spartans of Bushnell-Prairie City high school. For M-R, it has been a tale of two teams. Inside a very talented and competitive Three Rivers Conference, the Titans are still searching for their first win as they currently sit at 0-5, outside of the conference however, they are 4-2 with last night’s win over BPC. Titans Head Coach Jarrod Hippen discussed some things that the team has improved on since the start of the year, and others that the team needs to work on to put all the pieces together down the stretch.

If the weather holds up in the next few weeks the Titans will have 9 games throughout the rest of the month of April, including a TRAC-West division game tonight at home against Erie-Prophetstown.
