Monmouth-Roseville Titans Varsity stole the lead late in the game in a 7-6 victory over Rockridge Rockets (Varsity) on Monday. In the bottom of the sixth an error scored two runs for Monmouth-Roseville Titans Varsity.

Monmouth-Roseville Titans Varsity collected four hits and Rockridge Rockets (Varsity) had four in the high-scoring affair.

Rockridge Rockets (Varsity) got things moving in the first inning. Tyler Thiem drove in one when Thiem singled.

Monmouth-Roseville Titans Varsity evened things up at four in the bottom of the fourth inning. Silas Braun singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

Nico Avendano was the winning pitcher for Monmouth-Roseville Titans Varsity. The righthander went two and a third innings, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out two.

Brendan Price took the loss for Rockridge Rockets (Varsity). The pitcher surrendered four runs on two hits over three and a third innings, striking out five.
