ROE #33 Early Childhood Grant Working to Create More Availability for Childcare

Share

The Regional Office of Education #33 Early Childhood program has received a grant to help folks in the local community to be able to go through the process of obtaining their CDA or becoming credential for a licensed childcare provider in or out of their home, says Regional Superintendent Jodi Scott:

“As folks are going through these courses, we have developed kits that folks will receive for their homes or their classrooms worth over $1,000. A lot of the credentialing and the things that we are doing, people can receive for free right now because of the grant. Our goal is to create more slots for children in our communities because we know that childcare is very hard to find right now.”

The Early Childhood program through the ROE #33 serves children birth to three years old.
