Second Round of Back to Business Grants Available Locally

A second round of Back to Business grants are available through the state of Illinois for three specific industries, reports Knox County Area Partnership President Ken Springer:

“This grant is very specific though in terms of who can apply. There are really three industries that can access this. The first is restaurants and taverns. The second industry is hotels and the third industry is creative and performing arts organizations, like museums and theaters. There is $175 million in funding available from the state and there is lots of details in terms of the award amounts and that sort of thing. You can find that information, you can visit the DCEO website or you can actually visit KCAP’s Facebook, the Knox County Area Partnership for Economic Development Facebook. We have links on there and there are folks available that can help businesses with their applications and actually apply.”

The deadline to apply is May 10th.
