Monmouth College’s Bethany Allen Picks Up Prestigious Award

A Monmouth College track and field athlete has been recognized as an outstanding member of the Midwest Conference. Bethany Allen, a sophomore at Monmouth and graduate of Monmouth-Roseville High School, received the 2023 MWC Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Elite 20 Award. The award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average competing in the Midwest Conference track championship. Sports Information Director Nathan Baliva has more about Bethany’s big academic achievement.

Classes have ended at Monmouth College for the year, but both men and women’s track teams will be in action on Thursday May, 18th, for a Last Chance Qualifier at Augustana College. The NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships begin on May 25th, in Rochester, New York.
