Three educators and two support staff in the Monmouth-Roseville School District were recognized at the Regional Office of Education’s Excellence in Education Awards Banquet, reports Superintendent Ed Fletcher:

“For the educator award, Amy Frietag and Katy Morrison from the school district were nominated for that award. They do so much with curriculum, Amy with the Director of Multi-Lingual Learners and Mrs. Morrison is the principal at Harding, so they wear a lot of hats in the school district. On the support staff end, Jason Arnold, who is a custodian at the high school, received that award. Our retiring educator recognition went to April Young, retiring after 33 years in the school district. Also, the ROE recognizes board members, but they have to have twelve or more years of service. This year Kevin Killey received that recognition.”

Furthermore, the Monmouth-Roseville Board of Education has filled their open vacancy. Amy Gaule, who is the proprietor of Waymaker Travel, will serve through April of 2025.
