Monmouth-Roseville Junior Carmyn Huston Brings Home Medal from IHSA 2A Track and Field State Finals

This past weekend on the famous blue track surface at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Monmouth-Roseville junior Carmyn Huston placed 7th in the IHSA Class 2A shot put state finals. Her toss of 11.69 meters (38′ 4″) was good enough to bring home a medal from the state finals for the 2nd year in a row. She placed 5th in the 2022 IHSA 2A state finals. Carmyn won the shot put and discus events at the Three Rivers Athletic Conference championship meet in early May.
