Monmouth-Roseville Titans Varsity Can’t Catch Up To Spring Valley Hall Red Devils

Monmouth-Roseville Titans Varsity fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 20-8 loss to Spring Valley Hall Red Devils on Friday. Spring Valley Hall Red Devils scored on a error in the first inning, a error in the first inning, a triple by Resetich in the second inning, a single by Pecher in the second inning, and a error in the second inning.

Despite the loss, Monmouth-Roseville Titans Varsity did collect 11 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Spring Valley Hall Red Devils had 16 hits on the way to victory.

Spring Valley Hall Red Devils took the lead for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Resetich tripled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, Pecher singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs for Spring Valley Hall Red Devils.

Spring Valley Hall Red Devils scored four runs in the seventh inning. Pecher, Lapp, and Meagher all drove in runs in the frame.

Galetti led the Spring Valley Hall Red Devils to victory on the pitcher’s mound. The ace lasted four innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out one. Schrader threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Nico Avendano led things off on the hill for Monmouth-Roseville Titans Varsity. Avendano surrendered ten runs on seven hits over two innings, striking out two. Zach Almaguer, Jake Steele, and Tyler Jones each contributed in relief for Monmouth-Roseville Titans Varsity.

Dye started the game for Spring Valley Hall Red Devils. Dye went two innings, allowing seven runs on seven hits, striking out two and walking one

Monmouth-Roseville Titans Varsity socked two home runs on the day. Silas Braun went for the long ball in the third inning. C.J. Johnson had a dinger in the first inning.

Monmouth-Roseville Titans Varsity tallied 11 hits in the game. Johnson, Ayden Holcomb, and Justin Brooks each collected multiple hits for Monmouth-Roseville Titans Varsity. Brooks, Holcomb, and Johnson each managed two hits to lead Monmouth-Roseville Titans Varsity.

Spring Valley Hall Red Devils totaled 16 hits. Resetich, Pecher, Lapp, Meagher, and Cable all collected multiple hits for Spring Valley Hall Red Devils. Resetich went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Spring Valley Hall Red Devils in hits.

Titans are now 11-6-1
