New Monmouth City Council Members Take Oath of Office

Share

Two Monmouth City Council members have completed their four-year terms and were recognized for their service; Ward One Alderman Tony Cook and Ward Four Alderwoman Mary Kelley. Three newly elected council members and one appointed member took the oath of office to serve their respected wards, says Mayor Rod Davies:

“In Ward One we have Brad Bone who was elected. In Ward Two, Brian Daw is serving another term and Ward Three, Jim Conard is also serving another term. Kevin Ferry was to be on the ballot and submitted his paperwork, but unfortunately due to a clerical problem, it didn’t get turned in to Warren County to be on the ballot. So, I appointed Kevin, with no fault to his own would be serving as the Fourth Ward Alderman, and so I did appoint him to the maximum length of time that I am allowed to two years. In two years, Ward Four will have two seats up for vacancy and election; one will be a two year term and one will be a four year term.”
