Tami J. Stellern, age 62, of Cameron, Illinois passed away at 4:55 pm on Saturday May 19, 2023 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg, Illinois. Tami was born on August 17, 1960 in Monmouth, Illinois and is the daughter of Donald E. Ludington  and M. Louise Poulson Jahde. Tami was raised in Monmouth, and attended Warren School graduating with the class of 1978. Tami first married Samuel McNeill and later was married to Dean Harold Stellern. Tami first moved to North Carolina where she worked in retail for several years. She then returned to Cameron, Illinois and was employed as secretary for Larry Lee Spears for a number of years. Upon the arrival of her daughter Taelor, Tami became a full time mom, raising her. Tami loved to do hand work, and crocheting. She also loved her dogs, cats, and her pet bird. She loved photography, but above all she loved her family. Tami is survived by her mother, Tootie Jahde of Cameron and her father Don Ludington of Siler City, North Carolina. Her daughter survives, Taelor Jahde and her fiance’ Wyatt Nolan of Cameron, Illinois. Tami’s son, Zachary Stellern also is surviving in Cameron, Illinois. Tami’s brothers survive, Mike Ludington and Ellen in Siler City, North Carolina and John David Ludington and Shana is Jasper, Georgia. Also surviving is Uncle Skeet. Tami is preceded in her death by her grandparents, her father Hank Jahde, brother Mitchel Gurley and Nephew, Micah Gurley.

A private family graveside service is planned with interment in Silent Home Cemetery. Friends can pay their respects at the Turnbull Funeral Home on Monday May 22, 2023 during the day. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established for Western Illinois Animal Rescue in Monmouth.
