The WMOI and WRAM Program of the Month for May is the West Central Middle School play, courtesy of the Regional Office of Education #33 and MTC Communications. This first weekend in May, West Central Middle School students will bring their production of The Bachelor King to life, shares Superintendent Stacey Day:

“They have been working for two months now, rehearsing nonstop with it. There is a whole group of our kids that are involved in it and are really excited about it. They actually perform at the Raritan Opera House. They will bring in one of our local nursing homes, our assisted living groups come in and bring their residents over. They have a special showing for them and then they have a little reception afterwards that our kids serve snacks and refreshments to them. A great community event that way as well.”

The Bachelor King can be enjoyed at the Raritan Opera House May 4th, 5th, and 6th. Doors open at 6 pm with the play beginning at 7 pm and tickets are $7 for adults, $4 for seniors, and $5 for students.
